About Prisma Health Pediatric Endocrinology–Greenville

Endocrinology is a specialized branch of medicine that deals specifically with the endocrine system, including the hypothalamus, pituitary, thyroid, adrenal, pancreas, testicl*s, ovaries and parathyroid, glands and organs that produce hormones vital and essential to maintaining your health.

Most of the time, our bodies do a terrific job all on their own regulating hormones, but sometimes an imbalance may be caused by a medical condition or disease. In that case, your primary care provider will refer you to our office for further evaluation.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk

Each year, Pediatric Endocrinology participates in the JDRF Walk for a Cure. The Walk is held at the BMW Performance Center and is a great way for our amazing Type 1 diabetes community to come together and raise money and awareness for research towards curing type 1 diabetes. Many of our patients and families choose to create their own teams and shirts. For more information on the JDRF walk, contact our office.
