Looking around to see what Saint Vitus is up to, it took me some time to find their facebook page. When I finally stumbled upon it, it seemed to be completely emptied.
Anybody heard anything? Are they hibernating again?

The bands Twitter hasn't discussed anything in 3 years either.

Their 2019 album was pretty strong, but not much since then.

Dave was on a SST Records-related podcast a year or so ago and was very critical of Season of Mist, whom he claimed did nothing for the last record and, if I remember correctly, he wanted to be done with them. The Skull's FB page posted a picture of Henry and someone asked if it was Henry from Saint Vitus and their reply was something like "not anymore".

That makes sense, I don't recall much in the way of promotion for the last record. I only found out about it when SoM posted the full album stream on their YouTube account the day it was released.

Missed this reply, thanks for the heads-up!

I'm wondering what happened with Mark Adams. He had to leave the band because of some medical condition (can't remember what) and there was a gofundme for him to pay his medical bills or something. Never heard what happened with that.

He has Parkinson's. Not sure what has happened since the Gofundme and all that. I don't think that Saint Vitus's FB is even active at this point so I'm assuming that Dave's pulled the plug on the band.

Bumping the thread as Henry Vasquez has confirmed that Mark Adams passed away from complications with Parkinson’s disease. RIP to an incredibly underrated doom bassist.

R.I.P. Mark. I am glad I got to see him play with Saint Vitus a number of years back. I think it was his last tour before the Parkinson's diagnosis.

RIP Mark. Saint Vitus have been one of my favorite doom bands since I was a teen, so this hits hard. I'm also glad I got to see him live, I think that was back in 2011 on the Helmet/Saint Vitus/Crowbar tour.
